The
Results:
After
a gruelling tour featuring a 41 show schedule spreading from London to
Newcastle, the Dancing On Ice team finally hung up their skates on the
6th May 2007 – at least for now anyway… A further two
shows had been scheduled as part of the stop-off in Glasgow but sadly
had to be cancelled due to a mystery stomach bug that rendered Jayne
Torvill and some of the others unfit to skate.
The
tour was a great success and received rave reviews from both public
and the press, all of whom seem to have become dedicated D.O.I.
supporters. As you may expect, different contestants found their
special fans along the way but, it was no surprise to Bonnie and Matt
fans that they outnumbered the rest.
After
a total of 41 performances Bonnie and Matt won overall after taking
first place in no less than 27 shows.
Well
done everyone on making it such a great tour and special
congratulations to Bonnie and Matt on an amazing result!
Mind
you the fans were not surprised…. they already knew our Bonnie and
Matt were the best!
